They organized a bench heist and then admitted to it on Instagram, as first reported the New York Post.
Harry Bergenfield and his buddies rented a U-Haul truck to steal a 300-pound bench from Tompkins Square Park in the middle of the night last month, the outlet says.
Bergenfield brags about the theft on Instagram, captioning a photo of the group in front of the truck with "What's this?" on Aug. 29.
In an earlier post, the bench is pictured at Cecil B. Moore Station Plaza near Temple University.
The green bench was brought to NYC last fall by professional skater Anthony Van Engelen, who was captured on video completing difficult tricks on the curved structure, according to the outlet.
“Most skaters, they would be dying to skate something like that," he told the outlet.
